Duc In Altum 2023

Starts Sunday, June 11th thru Thursday, June 15th. This event is being held in collaboration between the Cathedral and Blessed Sacrament. The entire program will be held at Blessed Sacrament Church.

Duc in Altum is an evangelistic summer program that gathers together college students and seminarians as missionary teams and sends them out to parishes to share the GOOD NEWS of our Lord among the youth of our diocese!

For grade school children the program consists in catechetical instruction, songs, games, daily Mass, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, lunch, recess and more. This year's theme is Virtues & Beatitudes. The middle school and high school program this year will be focuses on understanding and proclaiming the Kerygma - the good news of the gospel! The Goal of both programs is to help them to know the LORD and love him more deeply and to help build up a community of missionary disciples throughout the diocese!

Grade School (Gr. 1-5) meet Monday - Thursday mornings. (9:00 am - 2:30 pm)

Middle School and High School (Gr. 6-12) meet Sunday - Thursday evenings. (7:00 pm - 9:00 pm)

Family Potluck and "The Well" Wednesday evening @ 6:00 PM.

I hereby release and agree to hold harmless the Diocese of Rapid City and the Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, any of its staff, advisers, chaperones, or persons connected with the Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help from any liability, claims, and/or damages for personal injury, property loss or damage, or expenses arising from participation in any event at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help.

In the event and within reasonable measure, If I and our emergency contact are unable to be contacted. I hereby grant permission for appropriate supervisors to seek appropriate medical care on my behalf until I am able to be present, including but not limited to emergency surgery; and, we fully and completely assume responsibility for all medical bills.

I understand I will be contacted in advance for permission to publish my child’s name.

I hereby warrant that I am free to give this permission. I further warrant that the information I have provided is to the best of my knowledge, true and accurate.
